Dive Grand Cayman January Wrap Up

We are wrapping up another spectacular month of Grand Cayman diving. We sure too advantage of the weather allowing us several windows to dive Cayman north wall. Some of the Cayman dive sites we explored like Babylon, Andes wall and Eagle Ray Pass produced some great wildlife and amazing coral and sponge life. When we had to dive Cayman West wall the excitement continued. Retired US Navy Submarine Rescue ship the USS Kittiwake has been quite the attraction. With several decks to explore and many fish still yet to move in, this Cayman dive site is sure to be the talk of the dive community for some time. February is right around the corner and we hope that everyone can find the time to get away from the snow and let us show you what Grand Cayman Diving has to offer!

The Nor'wester blew threw in just a day but we have moved back to the West.

This morning our Grand Cayman dive site was Eagle Ray Rock on the SW corner of Grand Cayman. Stunning! The sponges and corals so unspoiled and healthy. The fish life was amazing with schools of Chromis and Silversides. A few unusual looking Sea Cucumbers crawling across the sand and some inquisitive Southern Sting rays feeding on the bottom dwellers.

The afternoon was action packed! We dove Grand Cayman newest dive site, retired US Navy submarine rescue ship Kittiwake. Exploring the first 3 decks included seeing a re-compression chamber, generators, mirrors still on the walls of the bathrooms and a giant stainless steel wheel in the bridge! Can't wait for the big fish to start making her their home.

North Wall Extravaganza!

We wrapped up another fantastic week and that's right, diving Grand Cayman's North Wall! The weather allowed us to travel as far as Babylon and Andes Wall in only 40 minutes time. The fish life was amazing, the visibility as far as the eye could see and still very comfortable both surface and water temperatures. We were also able to clean about 50 or so of those pesky lion fish from the reef. Being able to dive Grand Cayman north side in January was such a treat!
